And that’s a wrap on the 2024 season…. We sold out of nearly every single thing in this place! What. A. Season! This year started a little later than usual but was worth it with the renovations. They gave us space to work, a clean look and feel, extra capacity to expand both ice cream and the kitchen, and brought you a seating area! Check out the video below of some of our highlights! Who wants to know Wednesday?! The Hump Day happenings are here! Let’s talk about Milkshake Manias. Holy cow! What A Concept! This winter, Natalie visited us in Florida, and we discovered milkshake bars. We knew we had to bring this fun to Down East Maine! I was skeptical - I didn’t think it would catch on. Fast forward to today: over 16 different ones launched during the season, over 2,000 mason jars later, customers who have driven two or more hours to get manias, and so much excitement! Wow. We are blown away and humbled at your love for these!
Pirate Fest at The Polar Treat!
Ahoy, mateys! Tis Pirate Fest time, and we’ve got the good stuff to celebrate at the Polar Treat! Milkshake Mania Thursday: Pirate Fest! A Jamaican Rum milkshake (no, it’s not alcoholic ) in a pirate themed glass, a rim lined with chocolate sprinkles, a glass lined with hot fudge and caramel, a chocolate hazelnut wafer, an Oreo cookie, whipped cream, and gold dust on top with some non-edible pirate themed treats! Let’s meet Jake! This is Jake’s THIRD year working at the Polar Treat with us! You mainly see him taking and passing out your food orders, but he’s also a milkshake expert and helps on ice cream, too! Jake’s favorite ice cream to make is a dream come sundae! His favorite ice cream to eat is toasted coconut! Jake’s favorite part of working here is socializing with our team and customers!
