The hump day happenings are here, and we’ve got a few good things to talk about!
First of all, an employee spotlight 
…if you’ve been to the Polar Treat, you’ve probably had Natalie wait on you at least a few times! She’s been here for as long as she’s been able to work (it’s her 8th season here), and she is our team leader!
Her favorite ice cream to make: banana 
splits (and we’d put her split making skills against anyone else’s – she’s the split queen for sure!)
Her favorite ice cream to eat: vanilla with rainbow sprinkles
Her favorite part of her position: serving all of our amazing customers!
She works full time for us, but outside of work, she loves being a mom and spending time with her two, cute little girls, Caitlyn and Layla! She also goes to school full time, has completed her associates degree, and is working on her Bachelors degree!
Thank you, Natalie, for your dedication to the Polar Treat and all the amazing ice cream and customer service skills you bring to your community!

Next…we are sliding into the end of July, and everyone is asking when we are closing. All those rumors are true: we are staying open into late October, pending weather (and likely with shorter hours), but we are staying to serve you as long as we can this year! 
Don’t forget, food specials updated yesterday and run through Monday, July 29. We have been selling out, so get what you want sooner than later!
